The Fuller Center for Housing (TFCH) was founded in the spring of 2005 at Koinonia Farm in rural southwest Georgia. After 29 years of unwavering and tireless service to the poor with Habitat for Humanity, Millard Fuller, founder and president of Habitat, was motivated to expand his vision of eliminating substandard housing worldwide. The inaugural meeting of TFCH at Koinonia, also Habitat's birthplace, established a new mission: "The Fuller Center for Housing, faith driven and Christ centered, promotes collaborative and innovative partnerships with individuals and organizations in an unrelenting quest to provide adequate shelter for all people in need worldwide."
The demand for safe, affordable housing is enormous. The United Nations estimates that over a billion people around the world live in substandard housing. Millard Fuller founded Habitat for Humanity with the simple goal of eliminating poverty housing. That organization has made remarkable progress towards the goal, providing decent homes for more than a million of the world’s poor. But that success is dwarfed by the work that remains to be done, and through TFCH, Millard Fuller’s remarkable entrepreneurial, fund-raising and motivational skills will continue to serve that vision.

Vision With a Purpose...

You can play a vital part in making a difference in lives of people. “Life is all about People Helping People,” says Jeff Cardwell, Founder and President of the PHP Network. PHP is a weekly radio broadcast that is focused on bringing people and organizations together in an effort to create synergy to do more with less.

This widely known public affairs program features good news, information and interviews on how people are making a difference locally, nationally, and around the world. The program is aired weekly on 88.7 FM WICR Saturday mornings at 11, 89.1 FM WSPM Saturday afternoons at 3 and 90.5 FM WIKL Sunday mornings at 7.

PHP reaches into the hearts and souls of its audience, highlighting those organizations and programs which help to make the life of a child more meaningful. It touches the lives of persons who are in need of decent affordable housing through the promotion of organizations such as “Habitat for Humanity”, both locally and internationally.

It reaches into the lives of the community by promoting local events such as the “Great American Clean-up”, a program sponsored by “Keep America Beautiful”, or the “Indianapolis Air Show” which benefits Riley’s Children’s Hospital. PHP promotes programs and events for all ages in all walks of life to benefit those in need. It gives hope to the hopeless.

PHP is unique in that it reaches a broad range of people taking the spirit of “HOPE” to a new level. PHP partners with individuals and organizations such as “Ambassadors for Children”, who can and do make a difference in the lives of others. Indeed, the program does just that. PHP makes a difference by highlighting individuals and organizations that are providing opportunities to us all. It is as simple as connecting the dots. PHP fills the communication GAP bringing all together to accomplish more with less
